Urban design and market analyisis Terwijde, The Netherlands

For this study of Terwijde, Leidsche Rijn, Waterstudio performed a market-analysis, in which internal competition of the dwellings on land and water was investigated. Based on the results an estimation was made of the revenues of the dwellings and the required programme.

The programme does not only include how the plans themselves are designed. The placement of the livingroom and terraces in relation to the sun is just as important, as is achieving privacy in relation to the adjacent dwellings and the quay.
