Waterstudio made the urban plan and together with Aquatecture the design of the watervillas for the floating quarter in the neighborhood of Terwijde in Utrecht. The plan consists of 19 villas that are situated along the quay. The houses have their sleeping area partly underneath the water, while the living area is situated above the water and offers wide views because of the use of large glass facades.
